This project has been important to me, as a woman of colour. I have had to form my identity on a level which also requires me to understand how people perceive me and my actions but also the systems that have been put in place that create these assumptions. My experiences in the world have left me with this desire to fight injustices and inequality. Women have often been seen as the weaker of the two sex.

This film works to present to people the experiences of being a survivor. It brings forward a dialogue that is often looked over and trivialised due to its sensitive nature. I hope that this film is able to build conversation and draw out to the audience the experiences of being a survivor.
